I am always disgusted by people (mostly women) who so often proclaim: “I deserve this” about eating unhealthy food.

Gothe whole nine yards–don’t make half-assed attempts.

I would rather go through intense pain, suffering, and uncertainty during a shorter period of time than stretching it out over a longer period of time while being ineffective.

Self-rewarding is some weak-ass shit.

If you are on the path towards greatnessyou don’t need external rewards.

It’s as simple as that.

Anything that has real meaning must come from within.

Motivation must be internal.

Where Most People Fail. . .

Probably the biggest mistake that people do nowadays is to “reward” themselves excessively.

Put in other words, they expose themselves to too much stimulation.

Either when starting the day or as soon as they get home, people begin stimulating themselves.

They wake up/come home and watch an episode of a TV-series or a movie, play video-games, masturbate, excessively check their email or social network.

By doing this, not only are they furthering bad habits and addictions to instant gratification.

Know what this means?

It means that anything your brain doesn’t link to being fun/cool/stimulating RIGHT THIS INSTANT gets sorted out of your focus and concentration.

You literally become blind to the opportunities that will make you successful!

The journey in itself is the reward!

–If you don’t have this mindset, if you don’t think that life is practice, you won’t be truly great.

Wage war against your brain

It’s hard to rewire your brain’s reward system.

Everything you do — and how you perceive things are being filtered through this system.

If you want to come out victorious you must have the attitude of waging absolute war against your brain’s ‘programming’!

Well, if you’re like most people, that is.

Your brain is smarter than you think it is and it will try to rationalize and convince you into stopping hundreds of times every day!

It will constantly try its best to fool you!

It will tell you that you should lie in the sofa, watch TV, and eat ice cream instead of working diligently toward your dreams for hours and hours every day while undertaking a healthy diet and lifting heavy weights!

You must endure countless moments of bad feelings and uncertainty with an unwavering resolve if you want to make it out and wake up — wake up your mind from idleness.

Punish Yourself when You Fail to Deliver

Once your know why and what you want to change you need to do everything possible to make sure you are taking every possible action towards making it happen.

You know intuitively what you need to do and that you need to step up and do it NOW!

You need to hold yourself accountable to an extreme extent.

You do this by punishing yourself whenever you fail to deliver!

For example if you know that should spend x amount of hours reading, writing and studying every day, or get up at 5 am every day – and you failed to do so – WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT REWARD YOURSELF IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE FOR THIS!

you do not deserve a reward

You do NOT deserve stimulation of any kind if you didn’t deliver, you FUCKING loser!

Refrain from eating whatever favorite food you have!

Do not watch any TV!

Do not masturbate!

Do not go out and party/meet people/drink!

You get the point. .

Instead bore yourself as much as possible.

Punish yourself in any way possible that you know of. By doing this you are slowly teaching your subconscious that whenever you fail to step up and execute, pain and suffering will follow and it’s in its best interest to help you in any way it can if it wants to feel good again!

You must RUTHLESSLY do this to yourself every time, NO EXCEPTIONS!

(If you cannot hold yourself accountable like this – you’ll never see success)

By doing this you slowly but surely develop discipline and integrity.

Through how you conduct yourself daily, you are either:

  • Learning and growing every day – getting stronger! Or you are being led further down the path of illusion and bullshit.
  • Strengthening the neurological pathways of your mind! Or you are weakening them in relation to accomplishing your goals and being able to uncover more of your brain’s potential.

Over time, this accumulates.

    I’m continuously amazed by how brilliant your website is.

    I’m reading your writings from the firs posts to the last. Just like I did with Victor Pride’s blog. Danger & Play and some of Good looking loser’s posts.

    I quit reading all forms of mainstream garbage. I do not watch TV (I only watch Messi play football). Etc.

    You feel so much better by just avoiding that constant bombardment of shit directed at your brain!
